It seems Kmart have turned a corner when it comes to their creative advertising campaigns. If you loved the recent high energy Australian spot using the no.1 hit by Sam and the Womp, you’ll love the new US spot ‘Ship My Pants’.
This new spot by Kmart US promotes free home shipping for items that are out of stock in store. ‘Ship My Pants’ has become a viral hit even before airing on commercial TV, receiving over eight million views on YouTube.
The traditionally conservative discount chain’s sophomoric yet clever ad features a running gag using the line “Ship my pants” as a pun. The ad has succeeded in garnering the retailer considerable attention. Check it out here:
